The collaboration will bring together professionals, organisations and stakeholders from across the waste and resources sector, creating an opportunity to share knowledge, explore some of the key issues facing the industry and strengthen connections across the North West.

Both NWRF and CIWM North West have a strong focus on supporting the region's waste, resources and circular economy community. By working together, the two networks hope to bring an even broader range of perspectives into the conversation and create valuable opportunities for people working across the sector to connect and learn from one another.

Jo Holmes, Chair of the North West Resources Forum, said: "We're really pleased to be working with CIWM North West on this event. There is a huge amount of knowledge, experience and innovation across the North West, and our networks share an ambition to bring people together and create opportunities to learn from each other. Collaboration is incredibly important in our sector. By bringing the NWRF and CIWM North West communities together, we can create a bigger conversation and give people from across the region the opportunity to make new connections, share what they're working on and discuss some of the challenges and opportunities ahead."

October's meeting will be looking at some of the most topical issues and changes within the waste sector currently - from digital waste tracking, and WEEE recycling capacity, to public engagement and climate resilience within the sector.

The event is completely free to attend, and open to all with an interest in waste and resources. There is still time to book, but spaces are filling up fast: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/1997845018230?aff=oddtdtcreator
